Writer's Toolkit for AI

Blurbs, ad copy and launch materials with AI

Draft back-cover copy, ad hooks and newsletters faster, then polish by hand.

Steps

  1. Feed the AI your synopsis and 3 comparable titles' blurb styles (described, not pasted wholesale).
  2. Generate many hooks; read them aloud; pick and rewrite.
  3. Research keywords and categories (Publisher Rocket or Amazon search).
  4. Make graphics in Canva or BookBrush.

Copy-ready prompts

Write 10 one-line hooks for a [genre] novel about [premise]. Under 15 words each, each emphasising a different emotion.
Write a 150-word back-cover blurb: hook line, protagonist + want, obstacle, stakes, ending question. Present tense, third person.

Tools for this workflow

AI output can be wrong. Check facts and keep final prose in your own voice. See using AI responsibly.
